One of the oldest settlements in the world of Avatar, Ba Sing Se is the capital of the Earth Kingdom. While it has suffered from riots and the iron grip of Kuvira's short-lived regime, the city still stands strong.
The source of the city's food, it is also home to Lake Laogai and its surrounding forests - now a prime destination for tourists. Explore using /nav or go in blind - there's plenty to sink your teeth into.

Home to the city's lower classes, this ring is densely populated and little better than a slum in places. If you can get past its rustic charm, there's plenty to explore.

Home to the city's middle class population, this ring also houses the Financial District and Ba Sing Se's very own university.
While not as famous as those in Gaoling or the Fire Nation Capital, this arena can comfortably house 2-6 combatants with a reasonably balanced fighting field.
With plenty of water and differing sources, it offers more choice for the average waterbender than some of the other arenas.
This arena should be incredibly easy to find once you leave the Middle Ring's train station. It has a black arrow built directly above it, and is also a POI you can select via /nav.
Location: 19754 37 6103 (overworld)
Home to the city's wealthy upper class, this ring was hit hardest by the riots caused by Zaheer. While it has been rebuilt in its former splendour, the peace is fragile at best.
The seat of power for most of the Earth Kingdom, the Palace is enclosed in its own walls. While it has been opened up for tourists, the guards will likely not tolerate you sitting on the throne.
You'll find several vendors within the Palace walls, just north of the train station. This will include the Pet vendor, the Hotbar vendor, and one that will sell you a Command Book. It will also include your Bending Master, if you're an Earthbender.
The Palace can be found simply by heading north from the train station, past the vendors described above.

The bustling markets of Ba Sing Se's Bazaar never sleep. Catering almost exclusively to the Upper Ring, its prices are usually fair but competitive.
With a full set of vendors, you'll be able to find almost every item in the game here. See here for a dedicated list of vendors.
The markets should be relatively easy to find once you're in the Upper Ring. Either use /nav or head along the east road after you exit the Palace.
