The Eastern Air Temple Markets have now been rolled out. The markets are located on the middle mountain in a building on the left. The exact location can be found here!
There was some discussion concerning rolling out the Misty Palms Oasis Market as well, but the interiors for that one are not ready, so we will move that one later until we have those interiors ready.

As we received from the community in our reddit post explaining the state of our server, we will try to stay more transparent towards our playerbase. From now on, we will start pushing quick and short announcements more frequently with regards to the visible and some of the more invisible progress, plugins, bug fixes, and more. Sozin's comet has now come and gone and the Air Nomads have been all but wiped out. Soon the glory and strength of the Fire Nation will touch all corners of the globe, but there seems to be one last obstacle. A small group of Airbenders seems to have survived at the Eastern Air Temple and now your company has been tasked with coming in, cleaning up, and gathering artifacts for the Fire Nation to be researched and cataloged. Be careful but do not be scared; you will face resistance but it's nothing the skilled and battle-tested troops of the Fire Nation can't handle!

You and a group of others will explore the Eastern Air Temple and fight the Airbenders who dare to oppose you. Along the way you will collect their treasures, traverse the deadly cliffs, and rebuild bridges, all in hopes of wiping out the last of the airbenders and securing the Fire Nations place in the world.
Everyone who joins will receive a participation prize, consisting of money and several animal heads.
The new Eastern Air Temple will be updated to the live server after the event!

While working on the server it has happened on several occasions that we actually rolled out a new feature, but under time pressure we didn't quite announce it right. Time to change that right?
For this first post in this series, yes we have a lot of this stuff, we'll go a little meta and talk about the blog itself.We never really even announced this blog officially internally as we want to make sure we have some content on it first.
There's nothing really special about it's implementation. It is just a collection of basic webpages after all. It is just a simple thing that was thrown together over the course of a weekend. The pages are stored in a git repository that gets automatically pulled by the webserver and then the markdown and json in it gets pre-rendered into pages. All pages are served directly from ram so it's quite fast (at least it was on my machine).
It also has a little feature you probably don't know about (as it is not linked anywhere yet). It has an rss feed that you can subscribe to.
