Christmas Event 2025

The cold season invites us back again to warm ourselves up with the holiday spirit! NUKTUK, HERO OF THE SOUTH, has returned for AvatarMC's annual winter celebration.

Head over to your bending capital and speak with Nuktuk to journey to the holiday hub. Read on for all the exciting details about this year’s event!

Note: For players that manually download and install the server's resource pack, remember to get the latest copy to access all the event's models and textures. Players who rely on automatic resource pack downloads do not need to take action.

Activities in the Winter Wonderland Direct Link

The giant Christmas tree is the heart of this event, sharing its festive spirit with all those that come around.

Check your Quest & Dungeons menu by typing /q for help navigating the event. Complete the activities and quests in and around the area to collect snowflakes, which can be traded with the vendors around the central tree for exclusive heads and cosmetics!

  • A List in the Breeze - A frantic elf named Honeybrittle seems to have misplaced something important, and they’re in a panic. Can you help them figure out what’s gone missing? Seek them out in the village and lend a hand — it might just save their holiday spirit!
  • A Very Helpful Hunt - Gao’s party plans have hit a snag — his friends are nowhere to be found! Venture near the Christmas Tree Parkour to find Gao and help him track down his missing guests. Your efforts will bring some much-needed joy to his holiday gathering, and maybe he’ll invite you too!
  • Capture the Flag - Take to the skies in a hot air balloon and head to the Capture the Flag arena. This team-based battle of wits and skill will test your strategy and teamwork as you fight to claim victory!
  • Castle Dropper - High atop the hill lies a majestic castle with an exciting challenge inside. Take the plunge in this daring dropper and see if you can land safely. You might just live to see the icy glitter of your next fall...
  • Christmas Tree Builder - Once entering the grand room of the Christmas tree, you will find different coloured ornaments that surround it. You can pick them up and then snowball them onto the tree and decorate it just as you like! If you plan on bringing friends, be careful; only one can hold an ornament. They are quite fragile!
  • How Evil Iroh Stole Christmas - Evil Iroh is scheming to ruin the holidays by stealing presents from under everyone’s noses! Head to the castle, track him down, and stop his plan before it’s too late. The fate of Christmas depends on you!
  • Icy Cave Dropper - Hop aboard the cable car that winds its way up the snowy mountain. There, in a glistening ice cave, another thrilling dropper challenge awaits. Can you brave the chill and conquer the fall? Maybe you’ll find frosted rewards at the bottom!
  • Icy Race - Spot the Ice Champion on the pier and challenge her to a race... an ice-skating race! Dash on the tracks and avoid the obstacles to reach the end and become the new champion. There are three racing tracks for you to race on, each getting more difficult as you get better on the ice.
  • Mr. Grouchy - Mr. Grouchy has taken over Santa’s workshop, and chaos is unfolding as he destroys the presents meant for all the good children. Journey to the workshop at the mountain’s peak, south of the village, and show him the true meaning of holiday kindness (or maybe just stop him outright).
  • Santa's Little Helpers - Wonder who created all of this holiday magic? Find the credits room to see!
  • Snow Maze - Step into a snowy labyrinth in the heart of the Christmas Village. Twists, turns and dead ends await as you try to navigate your way through this frosty puzzle. Can you find the exit and claim your reward?
  • Snowball Showdown - Gear up for an all-out snowball fight in the cave near the pier, northwest of the village. It’s a free-for-all snowstorm of fun — dodge, aim, and let the snowballs fly!
  • Snowman Ascending - On the lake shore northeast of the village stands a towering snowman, its layers of joyful snowflakes practically begging to be climbed. Scale this icy giant and see what surprises await at the top!
  • The Tree Parkour - The largest tree in the Christmas Village isn’t just for admiring — it’s for climbing! Leap from branch to branch, and you might just find out exactly how bright its star is. Reach for the star at the top and show off your parkour skills.

Some friendly elves are here to sell some Christmas goodies. Just remember, these poor folks don't have an elf union, so it wouldn't hurt to help out the elf economy! You can find them at the stalls around the central Christmas tree.
