We’re on the lookout for creative writers to contribute to our team and help add to our in-server lore. If you think you can help us out, then please read this page and send us your application!
Responsibilities
The Lore Team is responsible for the following:
- Contributing to the overall storyline and lore of the server
- Creating Quest content and working with members of other teams to bring them to life
- Writing NPC dialogue - This includes coming up with your own NPC’s
- Creating lore for dungeons or bosses
- Producing item descriptions for professions content
Requirements
- Ability to give, receive, and apply constructive feedback
- Creative mind; has little to no difficulty in thinking outside of the box
- Trustworthy and loyal
- Reasonable familiarity with the world of Avatar
- Consistent access to Discord
- Reasonable proficiency with the English language
- Ability to work closely with members of other teams to ensure content is consistent.

Pluses
- Previous experience in writing within the Avatar universe
- Writing specialties, i.e. characters, quest design, worldbuilding
Including these (if you have them) in your letter of motivation is advised.

- Your in-game name
- Your time-zone
- Your Discord ID
- A small showcase of your abilities; this could be a quest or just something you’ve written along the way. 300 words minimum. Something Avatar related is advised but not compulsory.
- A brief letter of motivation - why you want to join the team, what skills you have to offer, etc. 200 words maximum.
