Communications
Do you have the skill and social know-how to fit in with our Comms team? Join us and work on tasks ranging from social media posts, wiki pages, broadcasts, and much more!
Job Responsibilities
If you're accepted into the Communications team, you will be partially responsible for one or more of the following:
- Tracking server changes and regularly posting in #changelog
- Photoshoots for Server Store cosmetics
- Creating Facebook events for tournaments, spleef tournaments, Kyoshi Day, etc.
- Instagram Stories and Tweets for events
- Taking shaders screenshots for social media + writing captions
- Creating blogposts and sharing updates on moving blogpost to live site
- Improving Discord channel information (like #faq) when needed
- Posting lotus tile hints on social media
- Creating Maya 3D-style renderings for social media, website, etc.
- Updating players on bug fixes after resolving issues found in #bug-report
- Maintaining website with current information (updating Wiki, Apply page, etc.)
- Maintaining the server's broadcast system with up to date information
Position Requirements
- Ability to give, receive, and apply constructive feedback
- Ability to work both alone and with others
- Creative mind - little to no difficulty in thinking outside of the box
- Proficiency with the English language at a reasonably professional level
- Consistent access to Discord

Pluses
- Previous experience working with HTML and/or Markdown is preferred, but not required.
- Previous experience working in a similar environment.
- Previous experience with Maya 3D, Blender, or a similar software is preferred if you're looking to help with renders.
Including these (if you have them) in your letter of motivation is advised.
